How to Install Stickers

WHERE TO INSTALL

Our stickers are designed for durability in exterior applications but work equally well in less challenging interior applications. For the best sticker installation, ensure that you apply them to clean, smooth surfaces such as glass, automotive paint, and whitegoods like refrigerators. Glass is the safest option, provided it doesn't have any coatings that could be peeled away when the sticker is removed.

When applying stickers to exterior surfaces, particularly on automotive paint for an extended period, be aware that paint ageing and sunlight may fade the surrounding paint, resulting in a darker area once the sticker is removed. The timing for avoiding this fading is unpredictable, as it depends on various factors affecting the paint, such as its quality, age, and exposure to sunlight, harsh weather, coatings, and washing chemicals.

Be cautious, as sticker adhesive can bond strongly with surface coatings like house paint, which might not be as securely bonded to substrates like plasterboard. Removing stickers could potentially pull off the surface coating and damage the underlying surface, especially if the sticker has been in place for a long time. Aged or poor-quality paint on cars, whitegoods, and other items may also be damaged during sticker removal.

There are various methods for removal from various surfaces which you will find by googling "How to remove bumper stickers" and adding the specific surface the sticker is on, such as "car paint" or "house paint".

DO NOT use metal scrapers as they might scratch the underlying surface. Use plastic scrapers.

Be careful using heat guns as they can damage the underlying surface. Use the lowest heat that will release the sticker.
